La Capelière - Maison de la réserve et du Vaccarès

The site features a 110 m2 interactive museographic space, punctuated by multimedia tools and fun manipulations. Outside, a 1.5 km discovery trail, dotted with 4 observatories, offers a discreet view of many typical Camargue species.

At La Capelière, Maison de la Réserve et du Vaccarès, you'll also find :
- A reception and information area
- A store selling naturalist articles and local products
- A temporary exhibition room featuring news from the Reserve and the region.
- A shaded picnic area
- A free parking area
The Réserve nationale de Camargue is also the sea wall and the Gachole lighthouse! In the heart of unusual landscapes, where the sea meets the ponds, enjoy 20 km of free access on foot or by bike, from Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer to the locality of "la Comtesse". A reception and information point is open at the foot of the lighthouse on weekends, school vacations (all zones) and public holidays.
